Michele Cresci

Michele grew up in Islip, New York. At a young age she was adopted into a caring and supportive family. She attended college in NY, New York and in Troy, New York graduating with a Bachelor and Masters degree. She worked a wide variety of careers including carpentry, civil engineering and long haul trucking. After leaving NY in 2010 she traveled volunteering as a Wwoofer on organic farms in several different states ending up on a farm in Pawnee Rock, Kansas. However, throughout her adult life Michele has struggled with alcoholism and after dealing with some major losses in 2010, she began searching for something to fill the void in her heart opened for so many years. She was dealing with rejection, taking offense and shame over the depraved and immoral way she was living her life. Her downward spiral led her to drunk driving, severe depression and loosing her will to live. After spending some time in jail for her careless actions she eventually came to the Central Ks Dream Center to be a part of our discipleship program. Michele found love, healing and a renewed purpose to her life. She found value through building a relationship with Jesus Christ and discovered, with the help of the Holy Spirit, Gods calling and purpose for her life. That calling is to disciple women who are broken and suffering and to share all that God has so freely given to her. After graduating from the discipleship program, Michele came on board as staff and is currently the women's house lead. She is also certified in the Teen Challenge curriculum and assists Cindy as teacher in the classroom.
She is passionate about what God has done in her own transformation and genuinely desires that for those we serve.
